Prom 101 : Shoes ideas
Shoes: Your choice of shoes should depend upon the color and style of your prom dress and your level of comfort in the shoes. If you do not believe you can dance (or even walk) in a pair of stilettos, you can always choose a low-heeled option that can still be quite sexy. To discover what style of shoes you should be wearing with your dress, find your dress style in the list below:
Floor-Length, A-line, or Ball Gown: If your skirt brushes the floor or even includes a train, choose a simple pair of shoes to wear with it. A pointy-toed, medium-heeled shoe will sneak out from under your dress every once in a while and make the perfect fashion accompaniment.
Slinky and Skin-Tight: A slinky, sexy dress calls for a slinky pair of shoes to accompany it. If your dress shows off your curves in all the right places, try wearing a pair of strappy, open-toed sandals or sling-backs with a stiletto heel.
Short or High-Low or Asymmetrically Hemmed: This type of gown (with its short hem in front) is likely to grant more attention to your shoes and feet than any other dress style. Be sure to choose a pair of shoes with a moderate to high heel that shape and tone your legs. Your shoes should also boast some glitter, sparkle, or other pizzazz to draw attention toward them. If you are wearing a solid color dress, metallic shoes will complement your dress and add some glamour to your look.

Shoe Closet: Modern day Imeldas
Marilyn Monroe once said “Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world”, so the more right pairs you have the more chances you get to conquer the world--lol, I kid. But seriously I really don't care conquering the world, all I know is that I'm addicted to shoes in the most weirdest way. As a matter of fact--I've self-diagnosed myself of having 'OSD' Obsessive Shoe Disorder (ansaveh?) haha. I don't know but I just love shoes like I love blogging (it's a girl thing--you know). I love looking at shoes--trying them on and off course buying if my so tight budget would ever allow me. I'm no Imelda Marcos and I am yet far enough of having thousand of shoes--I only have a few pairs to boast but I feel like heaven whenever I look at them. So can you just imagine the joy it will bring if I like have tons of shoes? Oh--I wish!
Yes, I dream a dream and I always dream of having a shoe collection and perhaps a huge shoe closet but what like I've said that has yet to happen--maybe in the very near future *keeping my fingers crossed*. So for now I'll just be happy browsing photos over the Internet--in which I indulge most of my breathing spell. Torture as it may seem but I allude myself as a green-eyed monster by posting and sharing some of my most envied shoe collection/ closet. Here you go!
Mariah Carey's
Christina Aguilera's
Jessica Alba's
Khloe Kardashian's
Fergie's
Nicky Hilton's
Coco's
Omg! These shoes are to die for--I better stop now before I die of envy. I blame the fx driver for dropping me off on the other side of the street this afternoon--I got to see those numerous shoe thrift stores--which triggers my OSD that made me do this post *sigh*. On the lighter note, I know one day I'll have one of my own--it may not be as lavish as the photos above but I sure am gonna have one. Let me make room for envy now so that one day, the closet I admire most is mine (wow!)--after all, a girl can always dream and drool--lol!

Think. Do. Be. Positive
I'd been such a cynic for a couple of days--and I know for a fact that it wasn't only me--my dear blog and my lovely readers (if there's any--lol) were also drawn to negative energy. My bad--but sure, sometimes we feel negative, it's a norm and we, humans are allowed to feel that way--but making it a habit is another story. If we opt to--and if we keep dwelling on what went wrong and what went worst--we might end up having negativity ingrained in us without knowing it. Little did we know--this whole negative thing slowly turning us into a negative person--we wouldn't want to be for Pete's sake!
Though, sometimes I'm not--I'm practically a believer of 'Law of attraction', I do believe that likes attracts likes--so as much as I can, I try to attract nothing but positive thoughts. Having negativity stuck in our system can be so depressing so let's just invite more and more positive energy in our life. Life's too short come'on!
Speaking of positive thoughts--for the first time in two months I am excited to go to work--why? Well, it's because today I finally got the purple and pink wedges I ordered from Cindy months-months ago-- my gosh I'm so happy--I'd been waiting for these for ages and for the benefit of those who don't know--I have this overly--peerless fondness for shoes. I feel like I have this little 'Imelda' in me (though I don't own much pairs as she have). I just love shoes--I really do. And because of that, I'm thinking of having my so neglected outfit post back real soon. Yey!
