Sundate: Mr and Ms Ubekeso x Mr and Mrs Cullen

So it's the boyfriend and I's 35th UbeKeso day today--and yes in just a month we're turning 36th (3 years) na--yay!. Until now, I really can't believe that I am capable pala of handling a long term relationship--lol! But Seriously I'm really--really thankful that until now--we're still this strong and happy. I feel like we've been together na for decades.Three years but it feels like forever--I know forever is such a strong word in this world of uncertainty but you know by the end of the day it's still your choice--both of you--to keep everything you have last.

Anyways, since Ubekeso day fell on Tuesday and obviously we both need to go to work we just decided to celebrate it nalang in advance. So last Sunday we watched the last full show of Breaking Dawn Part 2 at Mega. I had to wait for him till 9 cause he still had to work until 8 and he's from Rockwell pa so I kinda waited quite long. Ok, maybe your asking why I went there too early, well I came directly from SM North Edsa that day for Lee Min Ho's Meet and Greet (ended around 6pm, I guess). That's another mind blowing story and deserves it's own post. I'll be sharing you guys what I'd been through and how it felt like to be a super fan girl for a day. Watch out for that.

For now I'm just gonna talk about our Pre 35th UbeKeso day celebration and yes of course the Epic finale of the The Twilight Series--Breaking Dawn Part 2. Here you go!

Went to Happy Lemon--had  Milk Tea with Pearl Sago and Puff Cream while waiting :)

The boyfriend came earlier as I expected (he doesn't want me to wait for him--he knows how I hate waiting--so can you just imagine my sacrifice for Lee Min Ho? lol). We had dinner at Tapa King (no photos cause I was really dead hungry--I could even eat a horse, fyi--that was my first meal that day. I could have eat first but I opted not to--I want to wait for da boyfriend so we can eat dinner together. After dinner it's movie time! The boyfriend and I were really excited. The ticket cost 202php--quite expensive but yes worth it.

*Spoiler allert* lol! I f you haven't watch it yet--well you better not read this, haha. Just go and see it first for yourself--it's a must see guys! Twas really good--heart pounding and yeah I didn't expect the twist thingy (that's my fave part)--hahaha. Got carried away--I was really freezin' and nervous and sad-- I thought I'm gonna cry--but then I ended up laughing. Stephenie Meyer really did a great job--as well as the actors--hats off guys! We got exactly--or rather more than of what we want for a finale. Though this will be the end of our 'let's wait for the next Twilight movie' tradition (sad face) I know for sure that Bella, Edward and Jacob and the rest of the casts will linger forever in our heart. Nice movie--we went out the movie house with the smile :)

The boyfriend can't get enough of Twilight--he told me that he'll buy a complete copy of the series to watch all over again and again and again. But of course I asked him to buy me the book series too--I feel like reading it now--wanna know the difference--just got curious.

I was wearing my Lee Min Ho (Lose My Heart) shirt from bench. Maong short from St. Francis Square. Red bag and shoes I bought online.

So sorry for that so emaciated appearance of me--ikr, haggardness is next to me lang ang peg. Well you guys know why--I was a fan gurl for a day--extreme!

was wearing Michael's socks from Bench--borrowed them from him cause I was really freezin inside the movie house. I had to wear them or else--I'll break down. I decided not to take them off for my outfit post sake--aren't they cute?

Saw Alvin, Simon and Theodore near the Cullens.

They're the cutest! I so love them.

On our way out, da boyfriend saw this cute--giant Happy Lemon. So that was our Sundate, we had a great time. Happy 35th UbeKeso day again to you--thank you for the date and for everything. I see you.

Happy 35th UbeKeso Day

It’s not always easy but somehow our love stays strong. If we can make each other happy~this is where we belong. Happy 35th UbeKeso Day. See u <3

Lose Mai Heart: Lee Min Ho in Manila

The long wait is over--he's finally here and he'll be staying here for good (char!)--a couple of days or so for his much awaited mall shows, tv guesting and of course for the Benchsetter Fun Meet at the big dome tonight--to meet his Filipino fans--(that includes me though not tonight, sigh!). I'm having L.M.H. fever--I so love him--I've been loving him since his Gu Jun Pyo days (who doesn't anyways?). Real sure--by now--girls all over the metro are surely in a gaga like state. You can't blame them, more like us--just his smile is to die for--such a lady-killer! I literally lose my heart (lol).

Going back, I gotta feeling that tonight's gonna be a good (ok good is an understatement) night--for those lucky Minoz who'll get to see and greet Lee Min Ho. I envy you guys--unluckily, I failed to get a patron invite and yeah--I have work today so it's really a no-no for me. I'd been down in the dumps for weeks cause I thought I already missed half of my life for not getting any chance to catch sight of--the City Hunter! But wait--yeah, there's more and much to my delight he will also hold his mall tour-- autograph signing event at the following venues: 3 p.m. at SM North EDSA Skydome, 5 p.m. at Glorietta New Activity Center, and 6 p.m. at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.

Freezeee! I'm definitely in seventh heaven now--knowing that I'll get to see him and have my shirt signed (Yes, the boyfriend bought a L.M.H shirt to cheer me up cause he also thought there's no way for me to meet Lee Min Ho--he's the sweetest, I know) on Sunday. I won't miss that for the world! See you there!

Hair Peg: Curly Auburn Locks

As mentioned previously (in line to my 'spicing-up my life project') I'll be turning this blog more into a fashion kind of blog (so just to keep all the negative energy away,--though I will blog random stuff  and happenings bout mai-life still--those kind of emo-writings and all) and will start blogging outfit post and stuff bout fashion, beauty and all that 'kikay'--mai--way real soon. So just to start that quite sudden changeover--I'll be sharing a bit of what I'm up to. Just so you know-- I've been wanting to dye and perm my hair for years now but I am just too chicken to give it a try,  I'm such a fraidy-cat, I know. But this time is different--I'm totally on it-- since I've been really-really bored and been wanting to get away from my traditional straight--black hair. Hell yes! I'm finally giving my hair a much deserve treat *excited*.And since I've been thinking of things to do to spice up my life-- having a major makeover could be #1 on my to-do list--I guess.

Ok, here we go--Basically I want to treat my hair with a bit of respect and of course I'm quite worried if what will be the out come--(I'm afraid I'll hate it- lol). So I want to be more careful in deciding of what color to choose--brunette or blonde? Oh my gosh! I really don't know what will work for me so again I googled some tips and photos bout hair colors. Luckily I bumped into these lovely photos--and to tell you, I fell in love with the color and style right away. This is exactly what I have in mind--Big-sexy curls--Auburn hair (the just woke up--di nag suklay yet dyosa look)--perfect!

Ta-da!   Just a whiff of my new peg.

Baifern Pimchanok aka Nam is such a goddess--super bet! I super love this girl--if you watched Crazy Little Thing Called Love--then you know why. I'm such a 'feeler', I know but seriously I like it a lot and really want my locks like this. Do you think I can pull this off? Well, will see--I'll keep you guys posted. Wish me luck!

Sugar and spice and everything nice

I hate it when I have nothing to blog because there's nothing new or exciting happening to my life. Lately my life has been quite a humdrum--and I am seriously getting sick and tired of my so moth-eaten routine. Feels like I have boxed myself at home and at work and that's too awful--I want to do something to spice up my stagnate life. I guess it's time for me to take the rudder of the ship into a better part of the ocean before I totally get myself stuck in the middle of nowhere.

And with that being said-- I am now  thinking of doing something I love. I am planning of turning this blog into a fashion blog (what do you guys think?), well why not?. I'd been wanting to do outfit shot again--it's been way too long since I had the last one. And like what I said on my previous post I'll be having it back real soon--so watch out guys. Weeeeh! I got too excited--can't wait!

For now--here are some tips I googled to help you spice up your lack-luster life--check this out!

----------------------------

1. Be spontaneous.

Seize opportunities to do something interesting. For example; when a friend invites you for a drink or to the movies—don’t make excuses. Simply, say yes and go. Don’t turn down invitations to socialize when you know you have nothing better to do.

2. Visit a new place.

It’s a shame to not have gone anywhere else besides your little hometown; or seen anything else outside of your community. C’mon, there is so much to see. Drive, get on a bus or train and go see the world!

3. Do the unusual.

Do something you have always wanted to do but never made time for. Go hiking, camping, kayaking, run the marathon, go to the museum, attend a concert, visit an old friend or do some volunteer work.

4. Plan a “spice up my life day” and commit to it.

Mark the date on your calendar for a special vacation, trip or activity. Submit your official vacation day leave request today. Invite your friends to do the same. The more the merrier! Start planning for your special day, visualize yourself having fun and get in the mood to party!

5. “Tune up” your attitude.

Give up the “I don’t do this and I don’t do that” attitude. Be willing to participate in new activities and to embrace new experiences. Stop being uptight, be open-minded, let loose and have fun. You will be pleasantly surprised at what the right attitude can do for you!

6. Be fully present and in the moment.

What’s the point of going on vacation and then spending your vacation time thinking about work, bills and other stressful issues? You can’t really spice up your life if you are physically present and mentally absent. To enjoy yourself, be fully engaged in the moment— body, soul and spirit.

7. Leave your hang-ups at home.

When spending time with your friends…don’t let your pessimist outlook and woe is me stories ruin the day. Remember that your friends are there to enrich your life and not to baby sit you. So, during this special time leave you high maintenance behavior at home, be a joy to others and have fun!

8. Change your environment.

Introduce inspiring elements into your surroundings. Change your furniture, paint your walls a different color, get some potted house plants, a fish tank or even a pet.

9. Make new friends or foster existing relationships.

Technology has made it possible to connect with people faster and easily. Make friends with people from different cultures and learn something new. Contact a long lost friend and make plans to meet and catch up. Better yet, pay a surprise visit to a relative you haven’t seen in a while.

10. Be creative

Opportunities present themselves in the most unlikely ways. Ask yourself, “What can I do right now, this week, this weekend…to spice up my life?” Think outside the box.

--------------------------

So what are we all waiting for?  Check out the real world and see what life has in store for us--don't be afraid to explore, don't stop seeking, inspire other people and live life like there's no tomorrow!

PGF 2012: Tekken Tourney

So this is it--I'm finally blogging this. I know it's a couple of weeks late (sorry, my bad)  but--yeah, again it's better late than never--so here we go.

Last-last weekend my boyfriend and I attended an event called PINOY GAMING FESTIVAL held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. It's the biggest competitive gaming expo and e-sports event in the Philippines--and now on it's 2nd year. Oh yes--definitely not my kind of event--boy, I don't even know--nor play any kind of e-games but given that my boyfriend has been so much engrossed with his tekken--and me being the ever supportive girlfriend that I am--had to be there to buoy him up all through out the game. It was such an elephantine event--as crowded as hell--and though it caused quite a hullabaloo outside--I must say it was a blast. Ok, enough for me--let just these photos do the rest of the talking--

It was a neck to neck battle for all of the participants--and I am so proud to tell you guys that my boyfriend and his team almost made it to the top. It was a nice try pushing your luck guys--don't worry there's always next time. Anyways, the final round between AK (the lil kid) and GRAHAM ( the guy with the goatee) was really a dead heat--I really got myself  up on the game--watching it on the big screen was really heart pounding--I was like bawling to death. The later part was kinda disappointing though--they had to cut the game on the big screen to give way to the next featured game so we didn't have any choice but to sneak into the backstage to watch the game to the very end. So just to cut it off--AK won and as his treat we all ended up at Mang Inasal for dinner. Happy tummy for everyone!
I forgot to mention that it was a 2-day event so we were all petered out after. But seriously--can I just say that I had a great time--and sure, we were all pleased as punch! Till next year!

Life 101: Life is all about acceptance

I'm seriously being bothered with this current problem my whole family is facing. I don't want to be blunt and I feel like I can't even fully elaborate things out cause this is for real a private matter but--ahhh! you know me I speak my mind and though this is something really far beyond my concern I can't help but--oh yeah--react. So let me just deal with this here--this is my blog so I'm free to say anything I want without them knowing--not unless they get to read this (lol).

I kept myself mum for months cause I know this is pretty much out of my business and yes, I'd been restraining myself to get in the way as much as possible. I do believe that this is something they have to work through on their own--anyway they're old enough--and should have known better. But as much as I want not to get involve--I have this urge to somehow tell them what I have in mind, that is--if I'm allowed to but I don't think they will ever accept words from someone my age--maybe never. Ok fine--but to tell you what, this whole thing is really getting into my nerves. This has been the constant talk at home for months now and seriously--aren't they getting tired of it? (cause I do). Can't they just walk the talk? After all-- much have been said and done and things are just getting worse and worse. It seems like they-themselves can't handle this the way a responsible adult should. Don't they know that all the people around them are being dragged and affected? My granny and my mom are very much affected--and you can't blame them--they care--too much. Their kids--they're the one who's suffering the most and I really feel for them. Their welfare is taking  back seat because their parents are making a big fuss over their puny and endless arguments. If they can't really make things work for the two of them anymore--at least make things work for the kids sake. It ain't easy I know but I guess that's what life is all about--it's all about acceptance. Let go of what's not working in your life and move on. There's more to life than love that lost. Life goes on!

No, don't get me wrong--I'm not being a back seat driver here--I know for a fact that I am definitely not in the right position to tell them exactly what they have to do with their lives or not.

I am not as experienced as they are and I am yet far--too far from where they've gone to meddle and forewarn them bout life. But then again I just want them to realize that life is too short to waste over trivial matter. Don't dwell on things you can no longer change--instead change every single thing you can.

Maybe it's not always about trying to fix something broken. Maybe it's about starting over and creating something better.

Things are always easier than done--but like what I always say-- you always have a choice-- if you really really want something to happen then make it happen. That simple.
