People who made a big difference in my life this year.

2012 has been so good to me, got lots of blessings and learnings. So before the year ends let me share you the list of some people who made a big difference in my life this year. I'm now making a post dedicated to them, my little way of saying thank you for all they've done and for making my 2012 extra-special.

Maxx and Saav: January 2011 when my sister Sarah gave birth to a bouncing baby girl and that's my so adorable niece Maxim Safia. And just March of this year she again gave birth to another lovely baby girl--Maxin Savina. Anyone who knows me know that I am so into Maxx and Saav, how I took photos of them and blog after. How I boast everything they learn each day. You guys should know how Maxx and Saav can instantly light up my mood and make my everyday all right no matter how tiring and hard it may be. Just they're cute little gestures and smile inspire me and the whole family. You Know I'm right if I say that the joy a baby brings to a family is really priceless. I am without a doubt a proud tita! Thanks baby Maxx and Saav for bringing much joy to tita's life. I so love you both.

My family will always be and forever will be the most important above all. Been through a lot and they’re always with me. Years and years may passed but if there’s one thing I’m sure of-they will never leave me and will be forever by my side no matter what. To my mom for always being my #1 supporter and for always being so understanding thank you so much. For giving me and my siblings all the love in the world, for taking good care of us and for being the best mommy, super thank you. To my sisters Yaya, Gleng, Bis, Yeyel, Jaja and to my only brother Potpot, for making my life a lot meaningful and challenging. You guys maybe hard headed and naughty at times but I know you all love your Ate Mai so much. Thanks for making me feel one of the best feeling in the world-the fulfillment of being an ate!. I Know you guys are looking up to me and I am happy that you’re all proud of me. You made me more responsible and mature. To my lolos and lolos  and all the titos and titas in both side thank you for your guidance. And for my Daddy who’s always been around, who never stopped touching and inspiring my life in such mysterious ways thank you so much. You’ll be forever in my heart. Having a family like you guys made me the happiest! I love y’all.

Last but not  the least on the list is of course my Mikel. Just Decemeber 20 of this year we celebrated our 3rd anniversary and to tell you honestly, never did I imagine myself being in a relationship that long. That's really an achievement for me and I'll be forever thankful to God for giving Mikel in my life. Three years of being together yet it seems like just the same. Each year brings out the best in us and I am happy that we're growing up together, holding hands in fulfilling our dreams. Mikel really thought me a lot of things and will continue to teach me things I need to learn. He's like God's way of showing me how love can change every person's life, His way of telling me that True love rally do exist and there's always hope. I had my fair share of heartaches and pains but I guess it all worth it. Best things are really yet to come to those who wait patiently and trust God with all their heart. I know forever is such a strong word but I would like to believe that, that's for us, in God's will. I love you so much and thank you for everything you've done. For being my savior, my best friend and my other half, thank you so much. I see u!

---------------

So there you have it! These people did rock my 2012 and I do hope that they will continue to rock my 2013, yay! Anyways, we're now going to welcome the new year with good vibes, I know good things are bound to come our way. Have a happy and prosperous New Year! Thank you and I love y'all! <3

Note to self for 2013

*fyi* this is the same resolution I made last year which sadly, I failed to accomplished so I'm trying my luck once again and hopefully this time it's for real-lol!

Now that the New Year is upon us, here are my resolutions for this year (which I might add are not a whole lot different from my personal new year’s resolutions every year). Ok here you go again,

Note to self for 2013,

I’ll..
start making a workout plan

(this time I’m freaking serious) its time to stop from being such a lazy ass,I saw my recent photos and omg, I gained weight, this can’t be. I’d been pigging out lately, my cheat days were over, I’ll refrain myself from eating and say goodbye carbs, might as well go to the gym and have some stretching.

be more diligent and I’ll work painstakingly
It so hard to look for a good job now a days that will fit in on my schedule (so even if my friendly friends aren't here please do bear),  must take my job seriously or else I’ll be broke forever.

spend my money wisely
I’m a self proclaimed spendthrift but I think its about time to just buy things I need not want. I really hate it when I really need money but my wallet is empty, So I must know when to limit myself and learn how to save (amen).

be careful with my words
The world isn’t my blog, I can’t just edit or delete the things I say. I mean, I can’t see anything wrong about being frank but I should be aware with anyone else’s feelings too.

be more patient
I should remind myself that things take time. People who are impatient are people who insist on getting things done now and don’t like to waste time. However, some things just can’t be rushed.

---------------------

Gotcha, but I am hoping, just hoping for each one of these resolutions to actually come to be (keeping my fingers crossed). Good-luck to me and to you too!

10 ways to make this your best year yet

Obviously, the end of the world never came~ no total blackout, no polar shift, no meteor strike, no solar storm and no zombie apocalypse. That only means that this whole world climactic finale is much more of a shaggy dog story  and the world won't end anytime soon and that we still have to plan for the years to come and for rest of our life. And since 2012 will finally bid farewell a couple of days from now which only means that we'll have to welcome another year~2013 with a bang!

Yes, 2012 has been a good year but who doesn't want the coming year to be a lot better or rather best? I know this quite a bit early for a year ender post but at least we still have a few days to think or maybe search for some important steps toward making 2013 a best year. Well, with that being said, I again asked my ever reliable best buddy 'google' and here's what I've got. Check this out!

10 ways to make this your best year yet

Detox

Before you do anything else, it might be a good idea to start the year with a clean slate by detoxing. It’s likely you over-indulged throughout Christmas and New Year, so consider cutting back on alcohol and unhealthy food in January. There are even certain foods you can add to your diet to speed up the detox process, including lemons, which are packed full of antioxidants such as vitamin C, and ginger, which improves digestion.

Get organized

Are you currently living a hectic life? Living in the moment can be exciting, but take it too far and you’ll start forgetting family birthdays, missing appointments, and running out of food in the house. Adding a little order and organization into your life can go a long way, and you’ll soon find yourself becoming far more efficient. This will give you the freedom to relax, knowing that everything in your life is under control.

Make small changes

One problem with the majority of New Year’s resolutions is that they’re too ambitious. As much as you’d like to, you’re probably not going to lose five stone by the end of January, and that’s okay. If you set daunting targets for yourself, you’ll just end up depressed when you don’t meet them. Instead, focus on small, achievable changes. You’ll have a far better chance of succeeding, and they’ll soon add up to contribute to more major improvements.

Get out of the house

Everything would be a lot simpler if you could sit at home all day and let good things come to you, but sadly that’s not how life works. If you want to have a good year, you’re going to have to get out there and make it happen. Whether it’s starting a new hobby, taking a class, or simply going out for food once a week, getting out of the house will help you meet new people, try new things, and generally have a more fulfilling year.

Ditch a vice

Vices; we’ve all got them, and we all want rid of them. However, trying to give up every single bad habit you have all at once is never going to end well. It’s far more realistic to pick one vice (preferably the worst one) and try to give it up. Make sure you tell as many people as possible that you’re trying to kick it, so that you’re accountable to someone other than just yourself if you slip up.

Get promoted

You’d be amazed how many people think they deserve a promotion at work but do absolutely nothing about it. If this sounds like you, it’s time to take action. Getting promoted is a great way of boosting your happiness and making your time at work more fulfilling. Confidently make your boss aware that you are interested in taking on more responsibilities, and outline why you’d be well suited to the role. Remember – if you don’t ask, you don’t get.

Meet someone new

If you’re perfectly comfortable spending time on your own then that’s fine. However, if you want to find love, there’s no time like the new year. During the next year try to socialise as much as possible, meeting plenty of new people along the way. If you have confidence issues, try to remember that other people are probably just as nervous as you and will be flattered that somebody new has made the effort to talk to them.

Get on top of your finances

Money troubles can cause a serious downer on your whole year. Around 80 per cent of people regularly worry about money in their day to day lives, which can lead to stress and even more severe health problems. Saving money is easier said than done, but you can make a good start by drawing up a budget in January for the year ahead. It’s also wise to identify areas where you can cut back on expenditure, or find cheaper alternatives.

Think positively

One of the most effective steps towards improving your year doesn’t even require lifting a finger. Approaching every situation with a ‘glass half full’ mentality will go a long way towards improving your year, and it’s something absolutely everybody can do. Happiness and optimism aside, it’s even been proven that thinking positively can have tangible health benefits, including reductions in stress levels and improved cardiovascular health.

Learn from your mistakes

We hate to break this to you, but you will make mistakes next year. They might be trivial, or they might be life changing, but either way you will make them. Accepting this fact will make your life a whole lot easier. Rather than getting worked up over things you do wrong, ask yourself how they could have been avoided, and what you will do to prevent them in the future.

______________________

Hope these steps help but always remember  that these are just guide and that you still have the power to make your year the best ever by doing what your heart tells you. Do your best and God will do the rest. Have a great year ahead y'all!

Merry Christmas y'all!

In all the merriment, I hope you do not forget that there are more important things than gifts during this Christmas. Always remember loved ones and the fact that you get to spend another Christmas with them. And of course thank the Lord for all the blessings. Enjoy the Yuletide season and spread the love! Merry Christmas y'all!

36th UbeKeso Day : The Surprise

You guys all know that Mikel and I just celebrated our 36th UbeKeso day last Thursday right? and I already gave you a whiff of the surprise he gave me. So now I'm gonna show you guys the photos of our mini yet memorable celebration. Here you go!

So last Wednesday night Mikel texted me to meet him at Mega, he told me he'll just play tekken lang. So I went there after work. I saw a brown paper bag and asked him what's that? then he said that's siopao~nag crave ako eh. So I thought that's really  siopao, I didn't know that's a mini cake~lol. He then asked me if where do I want to eat--so I said Bonchon~yay! So just to cut the story short, while he was taking our order I opened the paper bag and to my surprise I saw a cute-purple-cake with Happy 3rd Anniversary written on it. Isn't he's the sweetest?!

then I saw a rose inside his bag--I told you guys I'm a canine, I kinda ruined his surprise~lol!

So when he went back with our food he was surprised that I already knew his surprise (what?) haha, so I just gave him a thank you kiss (yeah that's my gift).

the cake was really cute--I honestly don't want to eat it
Happy 36th UbeKeso to us, thank you so much for the surprise. I'm the happiest! Looking forward for more years with you. I see u <3
