Happy Father's Day Daddy!

11 years have passed after that most doleful moment of my life yet I can still tell exactly what happened and what I was feeling that very night I lost him. Though there's nothing worse than losing someone you love, I can't just let myself stuck in that moment for the rest of my life. I have had to learn how to let go, to live and appreciate life.I know that's what he wants.

And although I'll never get to hear him laugh, see him draw, talk with him and celebrate birthdays with him again~I am still grateful. I am fortunate to spent 14 years of my life with him and I will be forever thankful to have grown up in a home with a father, to have had his guidance and love. I know that some do not get the chance to have a father in their lives. Some don't know who or where their fathers are. So I realized that even though God took him untimely from me, I'm still lucky and blessed cause I have had the best Daddy in the world and that I was able to share good memories with him.

Growing up with him will always be one of my favorite memories. He's without a doubt my first love and I will never forget the time I spent with him. Though he's gone and things changed, memories remain and I will always hold ours close to my heart forever.

I am daddy's little girl~ always have been, always will be. I love him and I'll be forever proud to be his daughter. I know that he's still with me and all of our family in spirit and that he's watching over us.

Here's to celebrating your special day in heaven~Happy Father's Day Daddy! I love you and I miss you to the moon and back and back and back and back again. <3

STOP HATE: RESPECT. GIVE IT. GET IT.

I got inspired after reading all my feeds and decided to make a post about hate. All those hate post and comments about NBA finals have flooded my facebook wall and seriously~ I can't stand the word vomit. I mean, come'on people there's so much more to life than hate. Get a life for Pete's sake!

Okay~okay, given that it's a human nature and at one time or another we do hate someone. It's a norm. In fact~I do. But for the record I only hate a single person and I do have all the  reasons and rights in the universe to hate him (though not outright). He's pretty much involved in my life (I just wish he's not) and he did/does things that are unacceptable and hard to understand. He's way too much for me too handle.I hate him big time. Oh well, look who's talking? Hahaha.

Anyhoo, as I was saying~ it's ok to hate, we all hate people we don't like but to immensely hate someone you don't even know, to continuously blab all the things you dislike and publicly decry your loathing ~for me, is silly. Really. I don't get it why do they have to put extra effort and waste so much negative emotion on someone who they barely know. Tell me, why do you hate Lebron? Why?

Is it safe to say that everyone has their own opinions of Lebron James? Those who love him are mesmerized by his physical dominance and athleticism. But more often than not he's hated.  He got like~tons of people rooting against him in every game. I'm like, seriously people? Where the fuck are those hatred coming from?

Obviously I don't have any idea, I wasn't really a fan, and to tell you frankly, I'm no basketball junkie (What do you expect from someone who grew up in a brother less household?). I don't even know the terms mean in Basketball (okay, I think I understand a little bit) and can hardly name the players and if which team do they belong. I only care about my-so-called- fave-team (which happens to be OKC THUNDERS). Call me a basketball dummy cause I don't know how the game really goes but I don't think just because you think you know how, doesn't mean you really do know. Unless, you gotta be in their shoe. Oh well, glad I did my research. Atleast. Thank you google!

So why do they dislike Lebron (and others in general), you ask? Okay, here are some reasons I googled why people love to hate;

1.Because he has something that they don’t.

Whether is it because you're theoretically capable of anything, your money, your big house, your tattoo, your ring, your nickname, your mvps or your life in general, clearly you possess something they don’t — and that upsets them. Because they realize that life can be unfair, and that some people can have things or do things in life that others can’t.To help themselves cope with this sense of frustration, they hate. This is how they deal with their feelings of inadequacy and inferiority after comparing themselves with others--by putting it on you.

2. Because they think you don’t deserve it.

They look at your fame, your popularity, your friends, your career, etc., and think that you are not worthy of these things, because they are only looking at things at surface level. They don’t care about the hard work you had put in behind the scenes — your sacrifices, your worries, your fears and the pains you’d gone through. Because they are superficial like that.

3. Because they have nothing better to do in life.

And we should take pity on them, really. Because for them, besides surfing the internet five hours a day, playing online games, stalking other people’s Facebook and posting hateful comments on blogs and YouTube videos, they really don’t have much else to spend their time and energy on. The lowest of them stoop to writing long hate comments. All these activities give them that momentary sense of purpose and achievement in life. Perhaps your haters don’t even really dislike you that much. They just like hating on other people. Hating has sort of become a lifestyle for them. We can only wish them the best.

4. Because they (haters) need attention.

So don’t talk back or argue with them. They would only get more excited. Don’t try to reason with them. Don’t. Even. They won’t bother listening. They just need your response to know that someone actually cares about what they think or what they have to say.

5. Because they are such bigots and self-righteous.

They extremely intolerant of another's creed, belief, or opinion. They intolerant of those who differ. No matter, they will always think of themselves as the better person compared to you. They would judge and criticize you using their own morals and values, and dismiss any good that you do. They don’t feel the need for humility when talking to you because they believe that they will always be (more) right. But we all know that such beings do make the biggest hypocrites around.

6. Because they are big green-eyed monsters.

They are jealous people. They curse and wish for your downfall because they want you to lose the things you have that they don’t. They see life as a zero-sum game. They think, perhaps if you lose a couple of friends/fans, they could gain some themselves. And if they can’t have the things you have, they rather you not have them at all as well. They are basically pretty fucked-up human beings.

7. Because they are unhappy with some things in their own life.

And they try to make someone else unhappy too — by being the nuisance that they are. They want to pull you down to their level of unhappiness. They want you to be disturbed and not have peace. If they can’t enjoy their life, they make sure you can’t enjoy yours too.

8. Because they think you're cocky.

And don't even realize that they are too. That everything they hate about you is in them.

9. Because they are, in general, just losers.

But losers who need much love.

10. Because they can’t get over the past.

They would use your past against you, they define you by the bad decisions and choices you made. They are either still salty over “The Decision” or stuck comparing everything you do to Michael Jordan. Move on haters move on!

Need I say more? Bet they (haters) still have a lot to add on my list. Oh, well. Let them hate you until they love you. Teehee!

On a more serious note,

After I summoned all the possible reasons why do people love to hate Lebron, my suspicion is this, most of us are just like him. Has he made mistakes? Hell yes, the same way we do. We all made bad decisions at one point or another. We're all just human after all. We tend to make mistakes, we're not perfect and we can't always be the person we want to be. We can simply be ourselves and do the things our way. We dream big. We all want a greener pasture and we always aims for the best. We do get cocky at times, we whine, we complain. We get to say something we don't really mean.We win, we lose.We get lucky~ unlucky, we flop, we fail but we will rise again.

Bottom line is, we don’t have to like his attitude, or who he plays for or with, but he deserves our respect. We all deserve it. Give it. Get it.

And can I just say that, this is post is not just about hating Lebron, it's about life in general. So let me just end my post with this quote I got from Mean Girls:

Calling somebody else fat won't make you any skinnier. Calling someone stupid doesn't make you any smarter. And ruining Regina George's life definitely didn't make me any happier. -Cady

It makes sense~isn't it?

Stop defining yourself by the things you stand against. You think it makes any difference? You think it makes you happier? You think it makes you special? You think it's cool to hate? It's not. It's boring. It's none sense. So why not talk about what you like, keep quiet about what you don't. This is one thing adults should know how to do.

From Mai to May: From Manila to Masbate

I know it's long overdue~it's been a week ago. Sawrey, ok Sawrey. Anyhoo, this was May's 2in1 celebration. Birthday and Farewell Celeb, though I find the later not a so good reason to celebrate. May is one of my closest buddies at the office. She's my very first friend to be exact so it was quite sad on my part to bid her goodbye. *Insert sad face here*. But like what we both agreed~we need to grow. We need to follow our dreams and what we really want~ so leaving is our only way to do so. It's a chance for us to expand our life and extend our wings. I know that what she did was right and that she's taking the right path. So as much as we want to stay and share more moments together we both know that we are just using the office as a temporary working place, until we found something more fulfilling to do with our life. And I guess she already found hers. And I'll find mine soon too. I really wish her good luck and I believe she's half way on achieving her dreams, for herself and for her family. I'll miss her, we'll miss her for real but what's modern technology for? We can still make 'chika' and hangout virtually if we have time~can't we? We can for sure. Madam Vicky and Ara and the rest of the gang will find ways you know that. Gosh, I'm getting too mushy now. I really hate parting ways but oh well, what can I do you're already in Masbate and there's no use for me to make 'drama' now. Hahaha.

Ok fine, set aside the drama and just enjoy the photos we took and the memories we made. The food we ate and the Chikas we shared.

Omygee, I'm already missing us. Can't imagine Madam Vicky and I lasted the week without you. Hahaha. You're the very first one who send us IP message every day. You're the one who always ask if what time we will eat.  Errrr. SepAnx. Separation Anxiety attacks. *sigh*. Vicky will feel that two times soon. Lols. Thank you much for the friendship~ that's surely for keeps. I know that you are happy and in a greener pasture now. I wish you all the best Madam and yes, I'll see you when I see you. I luh yah. God Bless.

Mai-Vission Board

Turning 27 last February gave me a deep feeling for self-realization. It made me realize what a torpid person I'd been for the past years. I felt like I'd been procrastinating on everything and I am missing a lot. Oh, too little time I have left before I turn 30 (how time flies really fast) and yet I still have so many things to cross off on my dream to-do list *sigh*. I feel sorry for the wasted time~ but since I decided to look at things from a different perspective~ and to be more positive all the time, I think this is a perfect opportunity for me to start making the most of my time.

Though I know that age is just a number and that I'll be forever young at heart (and I'll always look like I'm 18~lols), I shouldn't waste time. That's why I made my very own 'Vision Board' for me to visualize and believe like I already own everything that I want. As the Law of attraction simply says~you attract into your life whatever you think about~so true!

So here are the things I want to accomplish for the next six years~or should I say before 2020..or at least before I decide to settle down and have a family of my own.

1. Go to Dubai and find a stable and better job.

I already mentioned here early last year my plan to go abroad (read here). I chose Dubai because my aunts and uncle are already working there~it wouldn't be hard for me to look for a place to stay and of course to roam around since I have them with me. Another thing, levying taxes against personal income from employment is against the law in Dubai, oh yes, Dubai is a tax free country (how cool is that?). It's been a year and I'm still here *anyare?* but no worries, like what I've said I'm on my way there, I'm working on it~ and I think it's safe to say that I'm a work in progress.

2. Save. Save. Save and Save.

I'm a self proclaimed spendthrift but I guess things will be a lot different there. I know Dubai is a good place to shop and that could be pretty tempting but I must know when to limit myself. I can do it!

3. Study Fashion Design.

I'd been asking myself if what really motivates me to work? Do I love what I'm doing? Am I happy? Is this what I really want to do? NO! I know that being a teacher is a pretty good job but this isn't the job I want to do for the rest of my life. I just use this as a temporary resting place, until I found something more fulfilling to do with my life. And now I'm certain and I've decided to pursue what I really love.

4. Be a Fashion Designer and start my own Clothing Line.

I've been working really hard so designing have had to take a back seat. I remember even when I was a little~I love making paper dolls and designing clothes for them. So even when I was a kid I already know what I want in life. I just have to wait a little longer but I know I'll be one in no time. I just have to trust Him.

5. Buy a House and Lot for my family and for myself.

Growing up we're just renting a place to live and having an own house is an ultimate dream for me and for my family. A purple house to be exact~yay!

6. Own a Car.

Though I can't drive, I love road trips and I always want to have a car. It's the boyfriend and I's dream and soon it'll be reality.  How about a purple Lamborghini? Sounds great!

7. Globetrot.

I love to travel. I want to explore. I like to learn new things. I want to make new friends. And I badly want to see the world. I want to discover places I've never been to and experience beautiful things the world has to offer. Yet I don't know when and where to start~I surely will~soon.

8. Have an 'UbeKeso' Wedding.

Along with the list I made above I think this is the most important~at least for me.  It's every girls dream to have that one special day when they are the fairy tale's princess. It's that one day when they will be the most beautiful and happiest they have ever been~so regardless of what they have and what they want living happily ever after is the one that count the most.

******

Doing this made me even more realize that my life seems no where to go. I did not have a plan. I just drifted through my days without something to look forward to. I kept on making excuses. I'd been procrastinating~ so my life has become stagnant. Good thing, I know better now~I already have the courage to follow my plans and I continue to push things off. This list of things to do is made to bring more awareness into my life. To keep me posted and to remind me to make good use of my time and energy~and what I really want in life. This may seem like frivolous, fantastical and impossible to do in a short period of time but everything is possible for one who believes. And besides, it doesn't really mean that I can't continue to do these things after 2020~ I still have a lifetime to do all the things I want. I just have to live my life with  purpose every single day.

I will miss you Ian Goddess aka Britney B*tch!

I guess nobody will protest if I say that Ian is the coolest person on earth, I would like to believe that he’s/she’s/it (confusing!) really a human and not a Goddess sent from heaven to somehow enlighten and touch my life. Ian is the epitome of goodness-calmness-and beauty inside and out, the smartest yet the humblest person alive. I learnt lots of things from him/her/it and everyday I/we spend with him/her/it feels like I’m/we’re getting closer to Godliness (ansabe? partial chos) lols. The Optimist Prime that will keep all the Negatrons away, to sum it up. Thank you for inspiring me/us to do good and to be good no matter how bad others can be, for keeping me/us cool no matter how intense the situation may be, for sharing me/us the goodness in you, for being our savior and for lending me/us your helping hands in times we need it the most and for being our extra-ordinary-friend (bilang ikaw si Budoy) super thank you. I love you Goddess Ian. You already!

I/we will surely miss you Britney bitch! You take care always. Goodluck! See you soon. :)
